When you're looking for jobs online, it's important to be looking in all the right places. Use local job search sites to find jobs in the specific location you want to work. Check out niche job sites to access positions in a specific career field or industry. Job search engines search across the Internet, so you can find jobs for a variety of sources via one web site instead of having to visit multiple sites.
On a related note, it's important to know where companies are posting jobs online and how they are recruiting on and off the job boards. Focusing your efforts on where the employers - and the available jobs - are, will help you save valuable job search time.
There are tons of job sites out there and it can be confusing to know which ones to use. To help make it a little easier, here's a list of job search engine sites, jobs listed by location and type of job, networking sites where employers and recruiters can find you, and all the other job search sites where can look for jobs online.
