In this economy, experience matters
The latest Labor Department unemployment number for those younger than 29 is over 11% compared to about 9% a year ago. The figure for teenagers age 16 to 19 is 20.8%. 30 and older is much lower - near 7%.
So it seems that workers with more experience have an advantage these days. So much for our youth-oriented culture...
